GLCC is presenting an exciting sports event which is going to be held just for all you sports fanatics, 19 and under out there! Where, you ask? Right in the tiny little red dot at Kuo Chuan Presbyterian School, Bishan. Expect to conquer a whole new level of challenges and fun from the 18th to 20th December 2008 in namely the 4 different competitive sports arenas – Basketball, Floorball, Soccer and Netball!
So... You may be wondering why the camp is named SportLight? Like all other names, SportLight holds a paramount significance for us.
A union of two words, ‘Sport’ refers to the main activity of the camp – the 4 various sports being played. As for ‘Light’... It shines in 3 different Rays of Light for us:
The 1st Ray of Light - Being the fact that the focus of this event will be beaming on you, the athlete, and there will be no compromise whatsoever.
The 2nd Ray of Light - To illuminate the hidden talents of many individuals through sports. That’s right! Here’s a chance for your team and you to showcase what you’ve got!
The 3rd Ray of Light – Which you, as a sport person, will not only excel in sport but will Shine from Within through your sportsmanship!
